When a dream becomes a reality

November 19 is Women's Entrepreneurship Day. This day recognizes the courage and creativity of women who embark on entrepreneurship, inviting us to reflect on the importance and impact these women have on our society.

Therefore, we cannot forget the fundamental role that our founder, Dr. Sanja Zivanovic, plays in our company.

You are surely familiar with our products and their benefits. This is not a matter of chance or a magic formula. It is a scientific formula.

The path to entrepreneurship

Sanja is passionate about the cosmetic world and biomedicine. In her own experience, she saw how cosmetics were limited and needed supplements to complete the routine.

“I started to feel the effects of aging, among which tired skin and hair loss stood out. However, market offerings were not enough to alleviate them, and I saw that topical treatments did not solve these problems.”

After years of research on bioactive compounds, she acquired the necessary experience to develop an effective and completely innovative formula that finally yielded the results she expected.

She wanted to share her secret with the world, so she decided to start a business that would not only sell her product but also convey her passion for beauty and well-being, and promote the importance of something we often forget: self-care.

This is how SKIN MOLECULE X was born.

The challenge of work-life balance

At the same time, she had to take on a much more important and personal project: motherhood:

“I remember that just when my first child was born, SKIN MOLECULE X had just entered El Corte Inglés and the Lanzadera business accelerator. It was a great opportunity, and I was clear about it, although I noticed that we need more empathy from society, support, and facilities to combine an intense and stressful day in a startup with family.”

Female entrepreneurs face unique challenges. Days like the one we celebrate today are a small recognition of their great worth. The life of an entrepreneur is the sum of many lives; it is not a path taken alone, and Sanja knew it:

"I have met extraordinary women along the way who have inspired and supported me in this project, for which I am very grateful."

Currently, Sanja continues to research, manage her company, raise a wonderful family, and pursue her dream of bringing well-being and self-care to all those who seek to look and feel good.

Beyond drinkable collagen

We know that you often think of us as “the little bottle of drinkable collagen.” But this is much more; behind the small vials are very great efforts. Analyzing the problem to be treated, finding the perfect formulation, and achieving a good taste is not an easy task.
